HitsugayaxKarin 10

After that 'incident' Karin went speed ahead in the classroom, but couldn't get rid of that feeling that was squishing her heart. She couldn't even stop thinking about him, which, in Karin's mind, was ridiculous.
-I'm so uncool- she thought and as she did Karin blushed like crazy. She would have liked to hit herself too, and that reminded her Toushiro's last comment and his brand new bump. Well, he deserved it.
Anyway they had appointment on the roof, at lunch.
Karin checked the time, good, it was almost lunch break..she gulped, nervous. That was a REAL appointment, what the hell.

-Stop being a chicken- she muttered, but when she did her twin, Yuzu, popped behind her -What do you mean?-
Karin shouted -Yuzu, you scared me! What are you doing here?-
-Silly Karin, we're going to have lunch on the roof as usual- she smiled patting her back.
Karin went blank -You can't! I mean, today I have something else to do, so it's better if you go eat with your girlfriends in the classroom- she spouted isterically.
Yuzu was dissapointed -Ehhhh, Karin-chan is so mean! Today both you and Mito-kun are busy, booh!- she went back, upset and pouting. Karin sighed of relief, thank god she was easy to manipulate, otherwise she couldn't have explained her meeting with Toushiro.
That whole situation was so awkard.

She went to the roof, as usual nobody was there, it was a bit windy but mostly sunny so she sat on the floor and closed her eyes, enjoying the sun. For a moment she forgot all about Hitsugaya, so no surprise she was startled when he stood right in front of her.
-My my, what a lady you are. On the floor with your legs wide open.. and what are those? Shorts under the skirt?- he chuckled.
Karin gave him a bad look -Well, you should've know by now I'm no lady- then she smiled -Or have you mistook me for someone else?-
-I don't thinks so- he chuckled again -Let's just say you're very unique-
-I feel like it's not a compliment- they looked into each others eyes and bursted out laughing.

After a while they were eating on the opposite side of the roof's door, in the shadows, making jokes and fun of one another. Karin opened up her bento, sharing some with Hitsugaya, while he offered half of his sandwhich (which she ate in a bite, to his amusement).
The awkard feelings were now gone, and they were just enoying themself naturally, withouth thinking of anything else. They liked each other, and that was now clear as the sky.
It was all going well when they heard the door slamming powerfully, then a voice screaming.

-I'm sick of this! I can't take it anymore!- a girl's voice was crying loudly.
-We'll find a way..I..- then a boy's voice came in. Karin stopped eating for one second, she knew too well those two voices.
-I don't know if I can't trust you.. you already failed twice and I feel like there's no time to lose-
-Momo..-

Of course they were Hanamori and Kira. Karin turned to see if Toushirou recognized them too and yes, indeed, he was listening with wide open eyes.
-I want you to take care of her once and for all- her voice was so hateful that anybody could have said she hated Karin.

Hitsugaya frowned, as he seemed more shocked and angry by time, and was ready to get up and yell at them but Karin stopped him. She made a 'shh' sigh with her finger and they stayed there listening to the rest of the conversation.

-Will you tell me what's going on now?- he asked, lowering his voice.
-I think you know by now- she said nonchalantly, shrugging.
-Did you know?- he was visibly angry.
-Yup..-
-Then why..- he was stopped by her, again.
-Yeah, sure, would have you believed me? And really, I can deal with her alone just fine-
-Just fine? Oh so you..wait, don't tell me the other time it was all Hinamori's doing?- he looked right into her eyes, serious.
Karin nodded and Hitsugaya just exploded in anger.
-Then why the hell didn't you tell me!? Forget it, I'm gonna talk to her-

While he was saying that, he stopped, hearing Kira yelling.
-Enough, I can't do it anymore!- then he calmed himself -I'm sorry Momo.. this is not right, I don't wanna hurt anyone- he seemed to be suffering and on the verge of crying
-I did all of that just for you..but now..- he shook his head and left, leaving Momo behind.

At that point Hitsugaya popped out -We have to talk, Momo-
-Kyaa! Shiro-chan..y--yo-you were here?- suddendly she turned pale and was back being the sweet innocent Momo -I-It's not what you think. This is just a misunderstanding-
He looked at her coldly.
-No..No! Shiro-chan..please believe me! I'm sorry! I'm so sorry!- she fell on the floor and cried soundly.
-You disappointed me- he said, turning his back.
She couldn't say anything else and ran away, crying.

Karin got out of her hiding -You know..-
-Shut up. You have no right to say anything. If you wanted to talk, you could have done it before-
-Oi don't get mad at ME-
He shoved a hand on his face, stressed out -For god's sake.. I don't know what to do-
Karin grabbed his arm lightly, smirking -Want me to punch her?- and succedeed in making him smile.
-Stop it- he said, a bit amused, then something came up to his mind -You have to take responsability and light up my mood-
-Uhh?-
He was serious but Karin didn't fully get it -What do you mean?-
Toushiro grabbed her and went again behind the wall, then sat down, and pointed at his lips -You know. Make me feel happy- then smirked devilishly.
-You..!- Karin was speechless -No way- she was about to turn around and go away but he took her by the arm.
-Come on, I though you liked it.. Oi don't hit me! I'll have you know I still have a bump on my head!- he said, looking at how Karin was getting mad and ready to hit him again. -Also
you hid the truth from me..-
Karin sighed, he played her -Ok ok, I got it. Stop making me feel guilty- she was no longer afraid, sure, she still was embarassed, but the feeling of wanting to escape wasn't there anymore.
She sat down too, slowly she raised an arm and placed it on his head. Then she patted him.
-Are you kidding me?- Toushiro stopped her, with an unhappy expression.
Karing laughed -I thought you wanted to be comforted-
-Sure, but not like this.. - he snorted.
-I don't know what you mean- she said nonchalantly, with a devious smile on her face.
-You do-
-Do I?-
-You do, I say-
-Let's see..- Karin smirked and placed her hands open on the wall where Toushiro was leaning, replaying an old move of his (making him smile already).
But then her cellphone rang, she somewhat lost her balance and fell on the top of him, making him fall too and smack his head on the floor.
-Ouch!-
-Oww.. what the hell- Karin scraped her knee and hand, while trying to stop the fall, but was now flattened on him.
-Can't we do things less violently?- he asked, joking, while massaging the back of his head. -Now I have another bump-
-Sorry- Karin tried to lift herself up but Toushiro pushed her down again.
-Better this way-
Karin sighed -You're a pervert- but instead of pulling away she made herself comfortable on him and started to kiss him. He was happily surprised and put his hand on her waist, continuing the kiss.

After a while they stopped, in desperate need to catch their breath, flushed faces, looking at one another.
-I'm sorry if Hinamori harrassed you.. I should have known, it's not the first time-
Karin raised an eyebrow -What do you mean?-
-I mean- he placed his hands on her hips -She gets really jealous of everyone, including friends or teammates.-
-This happened before?-
-Not to such an exent. But she put up a case with Kiyone too, when she entered the team-
-And Rangiku..?- asked Karin, curious about their relationship.
-No, Matsumoto can shut her down in a minute- he smiled -They were never friends, but at least I forced them to be nice to each other- he sighed again.
-I guess.. Did you play dumb or are you really so naive you didn't know about her feelings?- she finally got herself to ask that.
-I somewhat felt it lately, but I had no proof so I just brushed that thought off. - he sat up, with Karin still sitting on him, moving his hands to her thighs, then he looked at her intensely -She's like a sister to me..-
It was like he was about to say something else, but Karin half-guessed and stopped him before he could -I know- she just said.

They were at few cms from each other -I'll have to talk to her again- he brushed his nose onto hers, and slightly touched her lips with his -You're driving me crazy-
She didn't answer, she didn't need to, he knew she felt the same. Karin moved her head on his shoulder and started kissing his neck, while holding onto him.
-If you don't stop I don't know what I'll do- he seemed to be losing control. She smirked and playfully blew in his ear.
-Don't try me- he said as he stopped her by her wirsts and pushed her on the cabin's wall. Her hands up on her head's sides, messy hair, breathless, shirt half-open, parted lips,
she couldn't be any sexier for him.
They both felt hot, diving in lust, they couldn't resist each other anymore.
They made out for quite a bit, but it was late and practice was starting in few minutes -I don't know how I'll keep a straight face today- he said, while trying to regain his cool.
-Yeah.. you need to hide those- she pointed at his hickeys, making him blush -So do you- he answered, making her grin.

Practice was.. strange. Karin and Hitsugaya kept away from one another, while working hard. Hinamori didn't show up, making everyone worried and Kira was seen bowing to the captain repeatedly.
-Wow, today sure was strange- said Takuma, once practice ended.
-I feel like there's something going on- Jin muttered -Probably between the captain, Kira and the manager-
-I just hope it won't get in the way of practice- said Shota while looking at Karin -You're strangely quiet today-
-Eh?- she was startled -I'm just thinking, yeah it was kinda odd.. - she didn't say much but her friends stopped inquiring and went home. She didn't want them to find out about her and Hitsugaya yet, especially Shota, but eventually who knew.. it was all still too new to even talk about it.
Karin wanted to greet Hitsugaya before leaving home and decided to wait a little bit, she knew he was probably searching for the manager to talk to her.
-Maybe it's better if I go home-
-No you don't- a girl voice from behind surprised her. It was Hinamori Momo, in her school uniform -I wanted to talk to you..-
Karin scratched her head, troubled -You know, Captain is looking for you- she felt like another rampage was coming her way.
-I know, but first I needed to talk to you Kurosaki-san!- she looked angry and sad -You took him away from me- her hands were trembling.
Karin didn't know what to say -It's not my fault you're in this situation-
-It is! It was all going well until you arrived!- she exploded.
-I don't think so, not the 'well' you mean at least.. eventually something would have happened anyway-
-Who cares! I would have had all the time to think about my next move, but now there's nothing I can do anymore!- tears began flowing down to her cheeks.
Karin felt kind of bad for her -Why didn't you confess?-
-You think I'm stupid? I know how he feels about me! It'd just be a suicidal move- Hinamori's anger bursted up again -You're so carefree, having already all you want, that was your goal since the start, wasn't it?- she sneered at her.
-You're wrong, don't insult me. Unlike you, my life doesn't revolves around a boy.- she clicked her tongue, pissed -I'm sorry if your happy dreams got crushed, but you have to grow out of your delusions.-
-I hate you!!- screamed the manager, failing to hit Karin with her bag.
-Good, I hate you too- she was pissed, but not that angry anymore, same as Hinamori -Now, go talk to him and leave me the hell alone-
Hinamori clenched her fists and gritted her teeth -It's not over- and finally left.

Karin suddendly felt tired -Ahhh, how annoying- she muttered, turning back and ready to go home. That was their first real confrontation, but Karin had an hunch it wouldn't be the last.
She knew by now Hinamori and Hitsugaya were probably talking, and she was curious as hell, but she couldn't go and peep on them. That was not like her, so she decided to go home.

That night, after she got in the bed, she found herself thinking about him.
'How did it go? I wanna know! Maybe I'll just send him a text.. '
'He won't find me annyoing, wouldn't he? Maybe I should just wait til tomorrow..I don't want to be clingy.'
While she was lost in her thoughts a text arrived, it was Hitsugaya.
-It was hard, but maybe it's over.- it said.
-What happened?- she wrote back.
-I think we'll have to find another manager-
-Maybe I know somebody fit for the role- Karin texted, while looking at her sister, who was already sound asleep.
